We got our start when we we astonished to discover how bleak the circumstances were for the homeless community in our area. In our city alone, law enforcement officers tear down pop-up tent sites and city officials hardly allocate funds to help low-income families out. Furthermore, our local charity organizations are at capacity, meaning that there are not enough resources to go around for everyone who needs it. These factors contribute to the rising homelessness epidemic that is rampant throughout California. We make it our responsibility to provide to low-income families the aid which is too often denied to them.
